The Omada 5-Port Gigabit Unmanaged Desktop Switch with 4-Port PoE+ (DS105GP) is designed to enhance small business networks with its five Gigabit RJ45 ports, four of which support PoE+ (Power over Ethernet) functionality. This allows the device to deliver both power and data over a single cable, simplifying installation for PoE-compliant devices like IP cameras, access points, and VoIP phones. The switch supports the IEEE 802.3af/at PoE standard, offering up to 30 W of power per port, with a total power budget of 65 W across all PoE ports. Additionally, the device supports transmission distances up to 250 meters in “Extend Mode,” making it ideal for long-range applications such as surveillance.
