The Dahua IPC-PDW31259-A180-AS-PV-ANZ-S2 is an advanced 12MP TiOC Duo panoramic network camera engineered to monitor wide areas with fewer cameras and fewer blind spots. Using two 6MP image sensors and dual 2.8mm fixed lenses, the camera produces a seamlessly stitched 5000 × 2500 panoramic image with an exceptionally wide 180° horizontal and 78° vertical field of view.

This wide-area coverage makes the camera ideal for building frontages, driveways, loading areas, warehouses, retail premises, schools, commercial facilities, car parks and other locations where a conventional single-lens camera may not provide sufficient coverage. By replacing multiple standard cameras in suitable applications, it can help simplify installation, reduce cabling and provide operators with a more natural overview of the monitored area.

Detailed 12MP Panoramic Imaging

The camera outputs a maximum 12MP resolution of 5000 × 2500 at up to 20 frames per second. Its large F1.0 aperture and sensitive 1/2.5-inch CMOS imaging system are designed to capture detailed footage across challenging lighting conditions.

A 120dB Wide Dynamic Range helps preserve detail when bright and dark areas appear in the same scene, such as entrances, loading bays and areas facing direct sunlight. Additional image-processing features include 3D digital noise reduction, backlight compensation, highlight compensation, defog, scene self-adaptation and configurable regions of interest.

Smart Dual Light with 30-Metre Range

Dahua Smart Dual Light technology combines infrared and warm-white illumination in the same camera. Both illumination modes provide a maximum range of approximately 30 metres.

The camera can operate using discreet infrared illumination during normal night-time monitoring and activate its warm lights when an intelligent event occurs. This allows the camera to capture useful full-colour evidence when a person or vehicle enters a monitored area while limiting unnecessary continuous white-light operation.

WizSense AI Detection

The IPC-PDW31259-A180-AS-PV-ANZ-S2 incorporates Dahua WizSense artificial intelligence to provide more accurate event detection and reduce unwanted alerts.

SMD 4.0 can distinguish people and motor vehicles from other movement, helping to filter out false alarms caused by animals, moving vegetation, rain and changes in lighting. Its intelligent perimeter-protection functions include:

Smart Search support also enables compatible Dahua NVRs to refine intelligent event searches and merge related event footage for more efficient playback and investigation.

Active Deterrence

Rather than only recording an incident, the camera can actively warn an intruder that they have been detected. Its TiOC active-deterrence functions include flashing red and blue warning lights, built-in speakers and configurable audible alarms.

The warning-light duration and flashing frequency can be adjusted to suit the installation. The camera includes multiple alarm sounds and also supports imported custom audio messages, allowing site-specific warnings to be played when an intelligent event is triggered.

Two-Way Audio

Built-in dual microphones capture sound around the camera, while the integrated speakers support audible warnings and two-way communication. When configured with a compatible Dahua recorder or platform, an authorised user can listen and speak through the camera using supported software or the DMSS mobile application.

The camera also provides separate audio input and output connections for integration with compatible external audio equipment.

Flexible Recording and Integration

Efficient H.265, Smart H.265+ and AI-based compression technologies help reduce bandwidth and storage consumption while maintaining image quality. The camera supports three video streams, allowing separate settings to be used for recording, live viewing and remote access.

Recordings can be stored on a compatible Dahua network video recorder, network-attached storage device, FTP server or a locally installed microSD card with a capacity of up to 512GB.

ONVIF Profile S, G, T and M support provides broader integration with compatible third-party video-management and recording systems. Dahua Warranty

3-Year Manufacturer Warranty

All Dahua IP cameras and recording devices (NVRs/DVRs) are covered by a
3-year back-to-base manufacturer warranty.

Note: Disk drives are limited to a 3-year warranty.

Our warranty is limited to the replacement of faulty items or parts
and does not include damage caused by incorrect fitting of parts or accessories.

(a) Australian Consumer Law (ACL)

Certain legislation, including the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) in the
Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), and similar consumer protection
laws and regulations may confer you with rights, warranties, guarantees, and remedies
relating to the provision of goods or services to you by us via the Site which cannot
be excluded, restricted, or modified. Our liability is governed solely by the ACL and
these Terms.

(b) Goods

If you are a consumer as defined in the ACL, the following notice applies to you:

“Our goods come with warranties and guarantees that cannot be excluded under the
Australian Consumer Law (Consumer Guarantees). You are entitled to a replacement or
a refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable
loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the
goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major
failure.”

(c) Our Warranties

To the extent permitted by law, we exclude all express and implied warranties,
and all material and work is provided to you without warranties of any kind,
either express or implied. We expressly disclaim all warranties including but
not limited to implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular
purpose.

(d) Manufacturer Warranties

Certain products, including particular models of IP security cameras and DVR/NVR
equipment, may come with a manufacturer’s warranty. The manufacturer’s warranty is
in addition to but may overlap with any rights and remedies you may have under
applicable law, including any Consumer Guarantees. If you are not considered a
“consumer” within the meaning of the ACL, the manufacturer’s warranty may be your
sole remedy. Many manufacturers’ warranties do not apply in a business or commercial
setting. Please contact the manufacturer if you would like to make a claim under
the manufacturer’s warranty.

(e) Repair, Replacement, or a Refund

If you wish to seek repair, replacement, or a refund for a product, please
contact us and we will explain the requirements to you. This may include you
providing evidence of the faulty product to us.

(f) Refund

You are not entitled to a refund for change of mind. If you are entitled to a
refund, we will only provide it once evidence of the faulty product is received
by us, or once we have received the product at our warehouse and inspected it
to assess whether it is eligible for a refund under these Terms. Any refund we
make will be by the same payment method used to purchase the product.

(g) Installed Products

Subject to this clause, we will not accept for return any product that has been
used, connected, installed, attempted to be connected or installed, or if your
product is custom-made or is a special buy product.

(h) Packaging

You must adequately package any product you are returning for our collection
to ensure that it is not damaged during return delivery to our warehouse. You
are also responsible for arranging the return delivery and the costs involved.

(i) Duty of Care

You have a duty of care for the product while it is in your possession. If
you damage products and then subsequently return them, you may be liable to pay
to repair the product to its original condition. In these circumstances, where
a repair is not economically viable, no refund will be made.
