The Akuvox NC-2 is a 2-wire IP network switch designed to modernise analog intercom systems without the need for extensive rewiring. By utilising existing 2-wire infrastructure, it facilitates the seamless integration of IP-based intercom devices, streamlining the transition to advanced communication systems. The NC-2 supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) output, ensuring efficient power delivery to connected devices. It boasts a long transmission range via 2-wire cables, making it suitable for large installations. The device can operate independently or in conjunction with the Akuvox NS-2, enhancing its versatility in various deployment scenarios. Power options include a 48V DC unit or the NS-2, providing flexibility to meet different installation requirements. The NC-2’s compact design, with dimensions of 113 x 48 x 25 mm, allows for easy integration into existing setups. Operating within a temperature range of -10℃ to +50℃ and a humidity range of 10% to 90%, it is built to withstand diverse environmental conditions. This makes the NC-2 an ideal solution for retrofitting old buildings, enabling the adoption of modern IP intercom technology without the complexities associated with complete infrastructure overhauls.
