Product Overview
For homeowners and small business operators who need coverage of two key areas with AI-filtered alerts, this HiLook by Hikvision 6MP AcuSense turret kit pairs 2 IPC-T361H-MU cameras with the NVR-104MH-C/4P to deliver a complete plug-and-play IP surveillance system. Each turret camera captures 3200 x 1800 resolution footage across a choice of 2.8mm or 4mm fixed lenses, with 30m EXIR IR night vision and 120dB True WDR for high-contrast scenes. AcuSense technology on each camera classifies motion as human or vehicle, filtering out animal and environmental triggers to reduce nuisance notifications. Dual built-in microphones on every camera capture on-site audio alongside the video feed. The 4-channel PoE NVR connects all cameras over a single Cat cable per port, supports 4K HDMI and VGA output, and accommodates 1 hard drive (sold separately). Remote viewing is available via the HiLookVision app.
Key Capabilities
AcuSense Human and Vehicle Detection
Every IPC-T361H-MU in this kit uses AcuSense AI to classify detected motion as human or vehicle. This keeps alert notifications targeted and relevant, so installers and end users are not chasing up triggers caused by animals, blowing foliage, or passing headlights.
6MP Turret Resolution
At 3200 x 1800 pixels, these turret cameras deliver substantially more detail than 4MP or 1080p systems. Mounted on eaves or soffit positions covering driveways and entrances, the extra resolution supports clearer identification of faces and vehicle details in recorded footage.
Dual Built-In Microphones
Each camera includes 2 built-in microphones that record ambient audio alongside video. This adds a layer of evidential value for incidents captured at gates, car parks, or entry points where verbal exchanges or environmental sounds form part of the event record.
4-Port PoE NVR with Plug-and-Play Setup
The NVR-104MH-C/4P includes 4 dedicated PoE ports. The 2 included cameras each connect over a single Cat cable run, leaving 2 ports available for future compatible cameras. There is no separate power supply required per camera, which simplifies routing during installation and keeps cable management tidy for wall-mounted or ceiling-run setups.
30m EXIR Night Vision
Dual EXIR LEDs provide up to 30m of infrared coverage in complete darkness. For driveways, side passages, backyard perimeters, or entry paths where ambient lighting is absent at night, this range covers typical residential and small commercial camera positions without additional lighting infrastructure.
120dB True WDR and H.265+ Compression
True WDR at 120dB balances bright outdoor backgrounds against shadowed foregrounds, which matters for cameras facing doorways, driveways, or shopfronts with strong backlight. H.265+ compression reduces storage demand, extending the usable recording window on a single hard drive in the NVR.
Best For
- Residential Two-Area Coverage: The 2-camera configuration suits homes needing coverage of two key areas, such as a front driveway and rear entry. The 4-channel NVR leaves 2 spare channels and PoE ports for additional compatible cameras.
- Small Business Shopfronts and Offices: AcuSense detection paired with 6MP resolution makes this kit suited to retail entries, office reception areas, and car parks where human and vehicle activity needs to be distinguished from background movement.
- Installations Requiring Audio Evidence: The dual built-in microphones on each IPC-T361H-MU capture on-site audio without the need for external microphones or additional wiring, making it useful for entry points and customer-facing zones.
- First-Time IP System Buyers: PoE plug-and-play connectivity between the cameras and the NVR-104MH-C/4P removes much of the complexity from the initial setup, making this kit accessible to installers and DIY buyers without deep networking experience.
Why Choose the HiLook IPC-T361H-MU 2-Camera Kit
Where a basic 2-camera IP kit provides video capture and little else, this HiLook 6MP AcuSense turret kit adds meaningful intelligence at each camera position. AcuSense detection on every IPC-T361H-MU filters motion events so that only confirmed human or vehicle activity generates alerts, reducing the volume of irrelevant notifications compared to standard motion-detection systems. The 6MP sensor at 3200 x 1800 produces noticeably more image detail than lower-resolution alternatives, supporting clearer identification in recorded footage. Dual built-in microphones on each camera add audio capture without additional hardware or cabling. The NVR-104MH-C/4P handles 4K HDMI output for monitor connection, 40Mbps total input bandwidth across all 4 channels, and accepts up to 8TB of storage in its single HDD bay. This kit is available through Security Wholesalers and is suited to buyers who want an AI-capable 2-camera system with a 4-channel NVR, room for 2 additional compatible cameras, and a separate hard drive option for recording.

Buyer Decision Tips
Lens Selection – 2.8mm vs 4mm: The 2.8mm lens covers approximately 105 degrees horizontally, making it the stronger choice for open areas such as yards, warehouse floors, or retail spaces where wide lateral coverage is the priority. The 4mm lens narrows to approximately 78 degrees and is better suited to corridor-style positions, driveways, or entry points where you need more reach down a defined path and less coverage at the edges. If your mounting positions vary across the 2 cameras, consider mixing lens sizes rather than selecting the same focal length for every unit.
Hard Drive Planning: The NVR-104MH-C/4P ships without a hard drive. With 2 cameras, recording retention will be approximately twice that of an otherwise identical 4-camera setup at the same per-camera bitrate. Actual retention depends on bitrate, frame rate, scene activity, compression, and whether recording is continuous or event-based. Choose a surveillance-grade drive sized for your required retention period, allowing for any future camera additions. The NVR supports a maximum of 8TB in its single HDD bay.

Ideal Use Cases
Residential Entry Monitoring
2 turret cameras monitor two selected areas, such as the front driveway and rear entry. Coverage depends on camera placement, lens selection, and the site layout. IP67 rating protects each unit against rain and dust across Australian outdoor conditions, and 30m IR handles night coverage of paths and yards without additional lighting.
Retail Shopfront and Entry Monitoring
AcuSense human detection on each IPC-T361H-MU identifies when people approach or loiter near entrances, triggering alerts without nuisance notifications from passing traffic. The 6MP resolution supports clearer review of customer and staff activity at service counters and entry zones.
Small Office and Commercial Premises
The 2 included cameras suit selected entry points, car park approaches, or reception areas in a small office or commercial space. The 4-channel PoE NVR allows up to 2 additional compatible cameras to be added later. H.265+ compression keeps storage use manageable, and 4K HDMI output connects directly to a monitor for on-premises live viewing.
Driveway and Vehicle Entry Points
AcuSense vehicle classification flags vehicle movement specifically, useful for driveways and car park entries where monitoring vehicle access is the primary goal. The 4mm lens option at 78 degrees suits focused coverage down a defined driveway approach rather than wide lateral spread.
Eave and Soffit Mounted Installations
The turret housing profile on the IPC-T361H-MU suits eave and soffit mounting positions where a low-profile camera is needed. The adjustable ball-joint allows the camera angle to be set independently of the mount position, giving installers flexibility when exact placement is constrained by roofline or bracket position.
Choosing the Right Model
- Choose this kit if: You need 2 camera positions covered with 6MP AcuSense detection, built-in audio capture on every camera, and a straightforward PoE NVR setup in a single purchase. This kit suits homes and small businesses where 2 channels will be used initially, with 2 spare channels available for expansion, and the AcuSense classification is a priority over basic motion detection.
- Choose a different kit if: You need more than 4 camera positions, as the NVR-104MH-C/4P supports a maximum of 4 cameras. This kit includes 2 cameras and leaves capacity for 2 additional compatible cameras. If your site requires full-colour night vision rather than infrared black-and-white night footage, a different camera model with colour night capability would be more appropriate. If you need a vandal-resistant IK-rated housing, a dome-style camera with an IK rating would suit exposed or high-risk mounting positions better than this turret configuration.
FAQs
- Does this kit include a hard drive?
No. The NVR-104MH-C/4P includes 1 HDD bay but ships without a hard drive installed. You will need to add a compatible surveillance-grade hard drive separately to enable recording. The NVR supports up to 8TB in that single bay. Compatible hard drive options are listed on the product page.
- What does AcuSense actually do on these cameras?
AcuSense is an AI classification layer built into the IPC-T361H-MU. When motion is detected, the camera analyses the shape and movement pattern to determine whether the subject is a human, a vehicle, or something else. Only human and vehicle events trigger push notifications or defined alert actions, which reduces the frequency of alerts caused by animals, wind-blown objects, or lighting changes.
- Can I mix 2.8mm and 4mm lenses across the 2 cameras in this kit?
Yes. The IPC-T361H-MU is available in both 2.8mm and 4mm fixed lens versions, and both are compatible with the NVR-104MH-C/4P. If your 2 camera positions require a mix of wide-area and narrower focused coverage, you can select different lens sizes for individual cameras. Check the lens option selection when adding this kit to your order.
- How does the PoE connection work between the cameras and the NVR?
The NVR-104MH-C/4P has 4 built-in PoE ports. Each camera connects to the NVR using a single Cat5e or Cat6 cable, which carries both network data and power. No separate power adaptor is needed at each camera location. The NVR auto-discovers connected HiLook cameras on its PoE ports, which simplifies the initial setup process significantly.
- What is the night vision range and how does it perform outdoors?
Each IPC-T361H-MU has dual EXIR 2.0 LEDs that provide infrared illumination up to 30m in complete darkness. Night footage is captured in black and white using IR light. The IP67 weatherproof rating means the cameras operate reliably in rain, humidity, and temperature ranges from -30 degrees C to +60 degrees C, covering typical Australian outdoor conditions.
- Do the cameras record audio, and is two-way audio supported?
Each IPC-T361H-MU has dual built-in microphones that record ambient audio alongside video. The recorded audio is stored with the video on the NVR. The cameras do not include a built-in speaker, so two-way audio communication is not supported on this model.
- Can I view cameras remotely on my phone, and what app is used?
Yes. Remote viewing is supported through the HiLookVision mobile app, available for iOS and Android. The app connects to the NVR over your internet connection, allowing you to view live footage, review recordings, and receive push notifications from AcuSense events. This kit, available through Security Wholesalers, is fully compatible with the HiLookVision app out of the box.
