Key Capabilities
90–110 dB Adjustable Siren
The integrated buzzer provides an adjustable sound level from 90 to 110 dB, allowing the alarm output to be matched more appropriately to the size and use of the protected indoor environment.
Blue LED Strobe
This listing is for the blue LED strobe version. The visual flash works alongside the siren to make alarm activation easier to recognise, while the wider DS-PS1-I-WB(B) family also includes red LED strobe versions.
Fire, Panic & Intrusion Tones
Three distinct alarm sound types are supported for fire, panic and intrusion events. Different audible patterns can help occupants identify the nature of an alarm when the AX PRO system has been configured accordingly.
900 m Two-Way Wireless Range
The siren communicates at 433 MHz using two-way wireless transmission with a published range of up to 900 metres in an open area. Frequency hopping helps improve resistance to RF interference and jamming.
Front & Rear Tamper Protection
Front and rear tamper protection allow the AX PRO system to detect attempts to open the sounder or remove it from its mounted position when tamper supervision is correctly configured.
Battery-Powered & Remotely Configurable
Three CR123A batteries provide wireless installation flexibility, while supported app-based remote configuration allows compatible alarm behaviour, prompt sounds and indication settings to be adjusted through the AX PRO environment.
Best For
- Residential AX PRO systems: Provides an internal audible and visual warning without requiring siren cabling back to the alarm panel.
- Offices and retail premises: Suitable for alerting occupants to intrusion, panic or other configured alarm events.
- Retrofit alarm installations: Battery operation and long-range RF simplify installation in finished buildings.
- Multi-area properties: Additional wireless sounders can improve alarm audibility in rooms that are distant from the AX PRO hub.
- Visual alarm indication: The blue LED strobe supplements the audible buzzer where a clear visual indication is also desirable.
Why Choose the DS-PS1-I-WB(B)/Blue
The DS-PS1-I-WB(B)/Blue adds dedicated indoor alarm notification to a compatible AX PRO system without the installation work associated with a conventional wired siren. Its adjustable 90–110 dB buzzer provides strong audible warning, while the blue LED strobe adds immediate visual indication. Separate fire, panic and intrusion sounds help make different alarm events easier to distinguish, and configurable arming and disarming prompts can provide useful everyday system feedback. AES-128 encrypted two-way wireless communication, frequency hopping and front/rear tamper protection support professional deployment. Available through Security Wholesalers, it is particularly useful where installers need an easily positioned battery-powered internal siren with long wireless range and full supported app configuration.
Buyer Decision Tips
Buyer Tip: This listing is specifically for the blue LED strobe version. Hikvision also lists red LED flash variants in the DS-PS1-I-WB(B) family, so confirm the required strobe colour before ordering for sites where visual alarm colour is important.
Buyer Tip: The 900 metre wireless range is measured in an open area. Indoor walls, reinforced concrete, metal structures and RF interference can reduce practical range, so locate the siren where both wireless communication and alarm audibility are suitable for the protected premises.

FAQs
- What is the Hikvision DS-PS1-I-WB(B)/Blue used for?
The Hikvision DS-PS1-I-WB(B)/Blue is a wireless indoor sounder for compatible AX PRO alarm systems. It provides a loud audible alarm together with a blue LED strobe so occupants can receive both sound and visual warning when configured alarm events occur. The siren also supports configurable arming and disarming prompt sounds and LED indication, making it useful as an internal notification device for residential and small commercial alarm systems.
- How loud is the DS-PS1-I-WB(B)/Blue?
Hikvision specifies an adjustable buzzer output from 90 to 110 dB. This allows the installer to select an appropriate sound level for the protected indoor environment. The sounder supports three alarm sound types for fire, panic and intrusion events, helping users distinguish between different alarm conditions when the AX PRO system is configured accordingly.
- What colour strobe does this DS-PS1-I-WB(B) use?
This listing is for the blue LED strobe version. Hikvision documentation for the DS-PS1-I-WB(B) family lists blue and red LED flash variants, so the required strobe colour should be confirmed from the exact stocked version. The strobe provides a visual indication alongside the audible alarm and can also be used for supported arming and disarming indication.
- How far can the DS-PS1-I-WB(B)/Blue communicate wirelessly?
Hikvision specifies a wireless RF range of up to 900 metres in an open area. The sounder uses 433 MHz two-way wireless communication with 2GFSK modulation, AES-128 encryption and frequency hopping. Real indoor range can be lower because walls, reinforced concrete, metal structures and RF interference affect performance, so the final mounting position should be checked for reliable AX PRO communication.
- Does the DS-PS1-I-WB(B)/Blue have tamper protection?
Yes. Hikvision specifies front and rear tamper protection for the DS-PS1-I-WB(B). This allows the AX PRO system to detect attempts to open the sounder housing or remove it from its installed position when tamper monitoring is correctly configured. The feature adds supervision to an indoor alarm device that may be mounted in an accessible location.
