Product SKU: DS-2DF6A436XG1-ELY
Product Overview
The DS-2DF6A436XG1-ELY is a high-end Ultra Series PTZ camera from Hikvision, designed for mission-critical surveillance where resolution, zoom reach and performance in low-light matter. It features a 1/1.8″ progressive-scan CMOS sensor delivering up to 2688 × 1520 (4 MP) resolution, combined with an impressive 36× optical zoom (6.0 mm-216 mm) and 16× digital zoom. With DarkFighter 2.0 low-light technology and 150 dB Adaptive WDR, it maintains clarity in challenging lighting. The camera offers full 360° continuous pan and -20° to +90° tilt (auto-flip), housed in a robust IP67/IK10 metal enclosure for demanding outdoor installations.
Why Choose the DS-2DF6A436XG1-ELY
If your application calls for ultra-long-range zoom, high fidelity in both day and night, and a PTZ built for extreme environments, this is the solution. The 36× optical zoom lets you cover wide open areas and then zoom in to distant details without losing clarity. DarkFighter 2.0 ensures strong performance in low-light or no-light conditions, while the 150 dB WDR handles high contrast scenes. The rugged build (IP67 and IK10) and full PTZ range (360°/-20° to +90°) make it an ideal choice for airports, transport hubs, industrial perimeters and critical infrastructure.
Key Capabilities
4 MP High-Resolution Imaging
Captures 2688 × 1520 resolution from a large sensor to deliver greater clarity than standard HD—helping to identify faces, vehicles and distant activity with confidence.
36× Optical Zoom (6.0-216 mm)
A motorised zoom lens allows smooth transition from wide-angle view to detailed telephoto capture—ideal for large-area surveillance and long-range monitoring.
Exceptional Low-Light Performance
DarkFighter 2.0 technology means this PTZ will deliver usable imagery even in very low ambient lighting, with colour or near-colour performance when others would switch to B/W.
Instant Coverage with Wide PTZ Range
Full 360° endless pan plus a tilt from -20° to +90° (auto-flip) ensure you can monitor both horizon lines and downward angles—no blind spots.
Advanced Analytics & Smart Detection
Built-in deep-learning analytics (face capture, vehicle attribute detection, intrusion/line crossing) enhance responsiveness and reduce false alarms.
Rugged Outdoor Construction
With IP67 weather rating, IK10 vandal resistance, and an operating temperature down to –40 °C and up to +70 °C, this camera is built for harsh outdoor environments.

Choosing Between Wide and Tele Zoom Settings
The DS-2DF6A436XG1-ELY uses a motorised zoom lens from 6.0 mm (wide) to 216 mm (tele). At 6.0 mm the horizontal field of view is approximately 56.6°, ideal for broad situational awareness. At 216 mm the horizontal field narrows to around 1.7°, enabling precise long-distance inspection and object tracking. Choose wide for panoramic coverage; move to telephoto for detailed scrutiny of remote subjects or entry points.
