Why Choose the DS-2CD2066G2H-I2U/SL

Choose the DS-2CD2066G2H-I2U/SL for its unmatched blend of clarity, intelligence, and proactive protection. Its 6 MP imaging captures intricate details with low-light sensitivity, while AcuSense technology accurately distinguishes humans and vehicles to reduce false alarms. The built-in strobe and siren act as visible deterrents, and two-way audio enables instant voice communication. Designed for reliable 24/7 operation, it’s ideal for perimeter, driveway, and commercial site monitoring.

Key Capabilities

6 MP High-Resolution Imaging
The DS-2CD2066G2H-I2U/SL delivers 3200 × 1800 resolution on a 1/2.4″ CMOS sensor, providing crisp images that capture fine detail even when digitally zoomed. Ideal for identifying faces, licence plates, and critical details in wide outdoor areas.

Smart Human & Vehicle Detection (AcuSense)
Powered by Hikvision’s AcuSense algorithm, this model intelligently filters out irrelevant motion such as leaves, shadows, or animals — ensuring only genuine security events trigger alerts and recordings.

Active Deterrence with Strobe and Siren
The integrated strobe light and built-in speaker deliver a visual and audible warning when human or vehicle intrusions are detected, deterring potential intruders before an incident occurs.

Two-Way Audio Communication
Featuring a high-quality microphone and loudspeaker, this camera allows real-time conversations via Hik-Connect or compatible NVR software, making it perfect for access points, gates, or loading docks.

Exceptional Low-Light & WDR Performance
Combines 0.001 Lux sensitivity with 120 dB true WDR to produce balanced, colour-rich images even in dim or backlit conditions. Ensures usable footage at any time of day or lighting environment.

Advanced Video Compression
Supports H.265+, H.265, H.264+, and H.264 codecs with triple streaming. This optimises storage and bandwidth without compromising image quality, perfect for enterprise-scale deployments.

Rugged IP67 Design
Built with a robust metal body rated IP67, it withstands dust, heavy rain, and temperatures from −30 °C to +60 °C — ideal for Australia’s diverse weather conditions and coastal areas.

Flexible Installation & Power Options
Supports both 12 V DC and Power over Ethernet (IEEE 802.3at Class 4), simplifying installation and compatibility with NVRs or direct network setups.
