What does the AXIS T94A01D Pendant Kit actually do?

The T94A01D acts as the adapter between a compatible Axis camera and a 1.5" NPS threaded bracket. It allows selected Axis PTZ and panoramic cameras to be installed in a pendant-style configuration, hanging below a wall, ceiling, pole, or parapet mount rather than being surface-mounted directly to a structure.

Which Axis PTZ cameras are confirmed compatible with the T94A01D?

Confirmed compatible PTZ models include selected units across the AXIS M5526-E, P5655-E, P5676-LE, Q6074, Q6074-E, Q6075, Q6075-E, Q6086-E, Q6088-E, Q6225-LE, Q6325-LE, Q6355-LE, and Q6358-LE ranges. Always verify your exact camera model number against the Axis compatibility list before purchasing, as not all Axis PTZ models use this pendant kit.

Can the AXIS T94A01D be used with panoramic cameras?

Yes. The pendant kit supports selected Axis panoramic cameras, specifically the AXIS Q6020-E and AXIS Q6300-E. Discontinued models Q3708-PVE and Q3709-PVE are also listed as compatible products, which may be relevant for support or replacement work on legacy installations that are still in service.

Is the T94A01D suitable for permanent outdoor installation?

Yes, the T94A01D is designed for outdoor use and is built from aluminium to withstand long-term exposure in outdoor surveillance environments. It suits locations including car parks, building exteriors, transport hubs, industrial sites, and perimeter positions when combined with compatible outdoor-rated Axis cameras and appropriate mounting hardware.

Does the AXIS T94A01D come included with any Axis mount?

Yes. Axis lists the T94A01D Pendant Kit as included with the AXIS T91B63 Ceiling Mount. It is also available as a standalone accessory through Security Wholesalers for projects where the pendant kit is needed separately from a ceiling mount purchase, such as when combining it with a different bracket type.

What other accessories may be needed to complete the mounting assembly?

Depending on the mounting surface and existing infrastructure, installers may also need the AXIS T91A06 Pipe Adapter 3/4-1.5" or the AXIS 1.5" NPS/NPT Male Coupler. These are particularly relevant for retrofit projects where legacy threaded infrastructure needs to interface with a current Axis camera and bracket combination. Plan the full mounting chain before placing your order.
