Ruijie Reyee RG-RAP2260E AX3000 Wi-Fi 6 Dual-Band Indoor Access Point with 2.5G Ethernet PoE & Cloud Management

Product SKU: RG-RAP2260-E

Product Overview

The Ruijie Reyee RG-RAP2260E is a high-performance AX3200 Wi-Fi 6 dual-band indoor ceiling access point designed for hotels, restaurants, shopping centres, meeting rooms, offices, education and other higher-density wireless environments. It delivers up to 800 Mbps on 2.4 GHz and 2401 Mbps on 5 GHz for a combined theoretical wireless rate of 3201 Mbps, using dual radios and eight spatial streams. A 2.5G Ethernet uplink helps prevent the wired connection from restricting aggregate Wi-Fi performance, while a second Gigabit Ethernet port adds deployment flexibility. IEEE 802.3at PoE+, Ruijie Cloud management, Reyee Mesh technology and support for more than 500 client connections make it suitable for centrally managed commercial wireless networks.

Key Capabilities

Best For

• Hotels & Hospitality: High client capacity and centralised management suit guest rooms, common areas and hospitality venues.
• Restaurants & Cafés: Wi-Fi 6 efficiency helps support staff devices, guest Wi-Fi and connected business systems.
• Meeting Rooms & Offices: 4×4 radios and 2.5G Ethernet suit spaces with many laptops, phones and collaboration devices.
• Shopping Centres: High-density client support and cloud management suit busy public-facing wireless environments.
• Education & Training Spaces: Multi-user wireless performance suits classrooms, training areas and shared indoor environments.

Why Choose the RG-RAP2260E

The RG-RAP2260E is designed for installations where a conventional 2×2 Gigabit access point may become the bottleneck. Its dual 4×4 radios provide eight spatial streams, while the 2.5G Ethernet uplink gives aggregate wireless traffic more wired capacity than a standard 1G interface. Ruijie also positions the access point for more than 500 client connections, making it suitable for busier hospitality, commercial and public wireless environments. Available through Security Wholesalers, the RG-RAP2260E is particularly useful where high client density, multi-gigabit backhaul, PoE+ installation and centralised cloud management are all required from a ceiling-mounted indoor access point.

Ideal Use Cases

Choosing the Right Model

• Choose the RG-RAP2260E if: You need an AX3200 4×4 Wi-Fi 6 access point with eight spatial streams, 2.5G Ethernet and high-density client capability.
• Choose a lower-capacity model if: The installation has modest client density and does not require 4×4 radios or aggregate wireless throughput above a Gigabit uplink.
• Choose a model with 160 MHz support if: Maximum single-client Wi-Fi 6 throughput is more important than the RG-RAP2260E’s 4×4 high-density design.
• Choose a Wi-Fi 7 model if: The network requires newer Wi-Fi 7 features, higher peak capacity or multi-gigabit client performance beyond Wi-Fi 6.

FAQs

1. What wireless speeds does the Ruijie Reyee RG-RAP2260E support?
The Ruijie Reyee RG-RAP2260E is an AX3200-class Wi-Fi 6 dual-band access point with a maximum wireless rate of 800 Mbps on 2.4 GHz and 2401 Mbps on 5 GHz, for a combined theoretical rate of 3201 Mbps. These are PHY rates rather than guaranteed client throughput. Actual performance depends on client capability, channel conditions, interference, distance and the wired uplink.
2. Does the RG-RAP2260E have a 2.5G Ethernet uplink?
Yes. The RG-RAP2260E provides one 10/100/1000/2500BASE-T Ethernet port and one additional 10/100/1000BASE-T port. The 2.5G port is the PoE+ input port, allowing the access point to avoid the 1 Gbps wired bottleneck that can otherwise limit a high-performance Wi-Fi 6 deployment.
3. How is the RG-RAP2260E powered?
The RG-RAP2260E can be powered by IEEE 802.3at PoE+ or by a 12 VDC, 2.5 A local power supply. Ruijie specifies a maximum power consumption of 25.4 W. If both DC and PoE are connected, the DC supply is preferred. An 802.3at-capable PoE source should be used rather than 802.3af or non-standard PoE.
4. How many client connections can the RG-RAP2260E support?
Ruijie promotes support for more than 500 client connections for high-density scenarios. Practical client capacity depends on traffic profile, airtime demand, RF conditions, authentication method and the capabilities of connected devices. For Security Wholesalers installations, capacity planning should consider real application load rather than association count alone.
5. Does the RG-RAP2260E support mesh and cloud management?
Yes. The RG-RAP2260E supports Reyee Mesh technology and Ruijie Cloud management. Ruijie Cloud provides self-organising network functions, centralised management, scenario-based configuration, cloud portal authentication, remote monitoring and maintenance. This makes the access point suitable for centrally managed deployments where additional compatible APs may be added later.
6. What mounting and environmental specifications apply to the RG-RAP2260E?
The RG-RAP2260E is designed for indoor ceiling or wall mounting. It measures approximately 220 × 220 × 35 mm, weighs no more than 0.55 kg without packaging, carries an IP41 rating and operates from 0°C to 40°C. Ruijie also specifies ±2 kV common-mode surge protection on the Ethernet port and a fanless design.
