Product SKU: SD4D825MB-HNR
Product Overview
The Dahua SD4D825MB-HNR brings detailed 4K imaging and flexible PTZ control to outdoor surveillance. Its 5–125mm lens lets operators move from a broad overview to a closer view of activity, making it a practical choice for car parks, warehouses, commercial properties and industrial yards.
Key Features
- 8MP resolution: 3840 × 2160 video at up to 25/30fps.
- 25x optical zoom: Inspect distant activity without relying solely on digital enlargement.
- Smart Dual Light: Infrared and warm-light illumination, each rated up to 100m.
- Auto Tracking 3.0: Supports automatic target following.
- Intelligent events: SMD 4.0, perimeter protection and face detection.
- AcuPick: Human and vehicle search with compatible backend equipment.
- Outdoor protection: IP67-rated housing.
Flexible Site Coverage
Use the PTZ to investigate an alert, inspect a delivery area or check activity across a large site. For entrances and other locations that require uninterrupted recording, pair it with fixed cameras. A PTZ records the direction it is viewing and can leave other areas outside the frame while moving or tracking.

Buyer Questions
Will AcuPick work with my existing recorder?
Confirm the recorder’s exact model, firmware and supported camera features before purchase. Do not assume that basic video compatibility also provides access to every AI function.
Does 100m illumination guarantee identification at that distance?
No. Illumination reach is different from identification performance. Useful detail depends on lighting, zoom, subject movement, mounting position and weather.
What should I check before installation?
Confirm mounting hardware, PoE+ capacity, recording bandwidth and storage requirements. Plan the camera position around the views you need, including where it will point while tracking or patrolling. Check bracket and power-adapter inclusions with the supplied package.
