The Dahua DHI-VTH5741A-WP is a sleek 10.1-inch IP and Wi-Fi indoor monitor designed for compatible Dahua video intercom systems. It provides a central touchscreen interface for answering visitor calls, viewing connected door stations and cameras, communicating through two-way audio and releasing connected doors.
Its 10.1-inch IPS capacitive touchscreen delivers 1280 × 800 resolution, accurate colour reproduction and a wide 178-degree viewing angle. The full-screen design features an ultra-narrow black border, providing a modern appearance suitable for homes, apartments, villas and other indoor installations.
The monitor automatically wakes when a person approaches, allowing faster access to intercom controls. A built-in ambient light sensor automatically adjusts screen brightness according to surrounding light conditions for comfortable viewing throughout the day.
IP and Wi-Fi Connectivity
The VTH5741A-WP supports full-digital IP communication through its 10/100 Mbps Ethernet port or integrated 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi connection. Its IEEE 802.11b/g/n/ax wireless support includes Wi-Fi 6 compatibility for connection to suitable wireless networks.
The monitor can be powered using standard PoE or a separate 12 VDC, 1 A power supply. Standard PoE allows compatible installations to carry power and network data through a single Ethernet cable, reducing cabling requirements.
Clear Two-Way Communication
The built-in speaker and audio input support two-way communication between the indoor monitor and compatible Dahua door stations. Echo suppression and digital noise reduction help improve voice clarity during calls.
The monitor supports G.711a, G.711u and PCM audio compression.
Intercom and Security Functions
The VTH5741A-WP supports visitor communication, door release, live monitoring, video messages, information release, Do Not Disturb scheduling and compatible elevator-control functions.
Eight alarm inputs and one alarm output allow compatible sensors and alarm devices to be integrated with the monitor. A doorbell can also be connected through an alarm input, while the 12 VDC, 200 mA auxiliary output can power a suitable low-current accessory.
Expandable Storage
A microSD card of up to 512 GB can be installed for compatible video-message and storage functions. Video messages can be left when a microSD card is installed in the indoor monitor or supported door station.
Multiple Indoor Monitor Support
For villa installations, the system supports one main indoor monitor and up to nine extension monitors. In apartment configurations, it supports one main indoor monitor and up to four extensions, subject to the configuration and compatibility of the complete Dahua intercom system.
