AXIS T8508 PoE+ Network Switch | 8-Port Managed Surveillance Switch
The AXIS T8508 PoE+ Network Switch is a compact and easy-to-manage network switch developed specifically for professional IP surveillance installations. Its eight PoE+ ports provide network connectivity and power to compatible Axis cameras, intercoms, audio devices and other PoE-powered security equipment through a single network cable.
Designed for straightforward installation, the AXIS T8508 can be discovered and configured using AXIS IP Utility or AXIS Device Manager. An integrated setup wizard and DHCP server help simplify initial system deployment by automatically assigning IP addresses to connected devices.
A unique graphical web interface provides a clear network topology showing connected equipment, device status and system notifications. Installers and administrators can remotely monitor network traffic, perform cable diagnostics and reboot connected cameras directly through the switch interface.
The fanless design enables silent operation, making the switch suitable for offices, reception areas, control rooms and other noise-sensitive environments. Its compact enclosure allows discreet installation, while an optional AXIS T85 Rack Mount Kit A can be used for standard rack mounting.
Advanced network functions including VLAN, Quality of Service, security controls and Spanning Tree Protocol allow the network to be configured for reliable video transmission and efficient system management.

Installer Notes
