Advanced DeepinMind AI Analytics
The iDS-9664NXI-P16 is part of Hikvision’s DeepinMind Pro NVR range and includes intelligent analytics based on Guanlan Large-Scale AI Models. It supports AI functions by NVR including facial recognition, perimeter protection, video structuralisation, AcuSearch and AcuSeek. It can also work with compatible AI cameras for functions such as facial recognition, perimeter protection, video structuralisation, AcuSearch, Motion Detection 2.0, ANPR, people counting and VCA.

AcuSeek and AcuSearch Support
The iDS-9664NXI-P16 supports up to 64-channel AcuSeek and AcuSearch functionality. AcuSearch allows operators to search video using target attributes, while AcuSeek is designed to support more natural and efficient video searching on compatible systems.
By NVR, the recorder supports up to 32 channels at 2MP, 16 channels at 4MP or 8 channels at 8MP normal IP camera access to achieve AcuSearch. For AcuSeek, the NVR also supports up to 32 channels at 2MP, 16 channels at 4MP or 8 channels at 8MP normal IP camera access. When used with compatible Hikvision AcuSense cameras with AcuSearch enabled, AcuSeek can be supported across all channels with modelling capability of up to 600,000 targets per day.
Facial Recognition and Face Picture Search
The iDS-9664NXI-P16 supports facial recognition functions including face picture comparison, human face capture and face picture search. It supports up to 32 face picture libraries and up to 100,000 face pictures in the list library.
For face picture comparison captured from cameras, the recorder supports up to 64 channels, with a comparison speed of 32 pictures per second. For facial detection and analytics by NVR, it supports up to 24 channels depending on camera resolution.
Perimeter Protection
The iDS-9664NXI-P16 supports advanced perimeter protection to help reduce false alarms and improve event accuracy. By NVR, perimeter protection powered by the Large Model supports up to 24 channels at 2MP, 16 channels at 4MP or 8 channels at 8MP. Without Large Model processing, it supports up to 36 channels at 2MP, 24 channels at 4MP or 12 channels at 8MP.
This makes it suitable for high-value perimeter monitoring applications such as warehouses, factories, yards, schools, car parks, logistics sites and restricted areas.
Video Structuralisation
Video structuralisation allows the system to analyse and organise video target information, helping operators search footage faster. The iDS-9664NXI-P16 supports video structuralisation by NVR up to 24 channels at 2MP, 18 channels at 4MP or 9 channels at 8MP.
This is useful for larger sites where reviewing footage manually can be time-consuming and where searchable target attributes may help reduce investigation time.
ANPR by Camera
When used with compatible ANPR cameras, the iDS-9664NXI-P16 supports ANPR by camera across all channels. Supported plate attributes include plate number, licence plate colour and licence plate type. Supported vehicle attributes include vehicle brand, vehicle colour and vehicle type.
This makes the recorder suitable for vehicle access points, car parks, logistics yards, commercial entries and other vehicle monitoring applications when paired with suitable Hikvision ANPR cameras.
High Resolution Video and 8K Output
The iDS-9664NXI-P16 supports up to 32MP IP camera input, with support for up to 8 channels of 32MP or 24MP IP video inputs. HDMI 1 supports up to 8K output at 30Hz, while HDMI 2 supports up to 4K output. The recorder also includes dual VGA outputs and CVBS output.
Its decoding capacity supports up to 2 channels at 32MP, 2 channels at 24MP, 4 channels at 16MP, 8 channels at 8MP, 16 channels at 4MP or 32 channels at 2MP. It also supports 16-channel synchronous playback.
Large Storage Capacity with 16 HDD Bays
The iDS-9664NXI-P16 includes 16 SATA interfaces for 3.5-inch HDDs, with support for up to 20TB per HDD. This provides a maximum raw storage capacity of up to 320TB, depending on the hard drives installed.
For professional storage management, the NVR supports RAID 0, RAID 1, RAID 5, RAID 6 and RAID 10. This allows the system to be configured for performance, redundancy or a balance of both depending on the project requirements.
