Product Overview
The DS-2CD3H66G2H-LIZSUY-SL is a high-performance network turret camera from Hikvision’s Ultra Series, engineered for demanding outdoor and perimeter surveillance. Equipped with a 1/1.8″ progressive scan CMOS sensor and a resolution of up to 3200 × 1800, it delivers crisp, clear video across a wide field of view. The camera incorporates a motorised varifocal lens (2.7–13.5 mm) for flexible coverage and features Smart Hybrid Light dual-illumination (IR and white-light) to ensure effective visibility up to approximately 40 metres, even under low-light conditions. Ruggedised to IP67 and IK10 standards and built on an intelligent analytics platform, it’s purpose-built for high-traffic, high-risk installations.
Why Choose the DS-2CD3H66G2H-LIZSUY-SL
This model is ideal when you need a camera that combines resolution, intelligent analytics and flexible deployment. The large sensor and high resolution support wide-area coverage with sufficient detail to identify people and vehicles. The motorised varifocal lens gives you installation flexibility—allowing zooming in or out remotely to suit your site. The Smart Hybrid Light system enables full-colour or IR imaging depending on scene requirements, and the built-in deep-learning analytics platform supports human and vehicle classification for more accurate event detection. With robust housing certified for weather and vandal resistance, the DS-2CD3H66G2H-LIZSUY-SL is a strong choice for commercial facilities, transport hubs, retail perimeters and outdoor entrances.
Key Capabilities
High-Resolution Imaging

Motorised Varifocal Lens (2.7–13.5 mm)
With remote zoom and focus adjustment, installers can fine-tune viewing angles without physically repositioning the camera—ideal for evolving site requirements.
Smart Hybrid Light Illumination
Combining infrared and white-light LEDs, the camera adapts to lighting conditions to provide clear images up to approx. 40 metres, giving strong performance in dusk or night conditions.
Edge AI & Analytics Platform
Powered by the HEOP 2.0 platform with 1.5 TOPS compute and on-board deep-learning, the camera supports human/vehicle classification and event filtering, reducing false alarms and improving detection accuracy.
Rugged Build & Wide Dynamic Range
The combination of IP67 weather resistance, IK10 vandal rating and high-contrast scene handling makes this camera suited to outdoor, high-risk, or high-traffic sites where durability and clarity matter.

Understanding the Motorised Varifocal Lens
A motorised varifocal lens allows remote adjustment of zoom and focus, enabling one camera installation to cover either wide scenes or detailed zones without hardware changes. With the 2.7–13.5 mm range, you can shift from broad-area coverage (wide) to narrowed long-range views (telephoto). This provides installers and security professionals with flexibility to adapt the camera as site needs change — perfect for evolving environments, multi-purpose use and professional surveillance setups.
| Zoom Position |
Approx. Field of View |
Best For |
| Wide (2.7 mm) |
~112° H |
Open areas, car parks, building fronts |
| Telephoto (13.5 mm) |
~41° H |
Gates, driveways, long corridors, targeted analytics zones |
Tip:
Choose the wide end (2.7 mm) for broad-area monitoring; choose the telephoto end (13.5 mm) when you need detailed long-range coverage or object identification.
FAQs
- Can this camera capture good night-time colour video?
Yes. With Smart Hybrid Light (IR + white-light) it adapts to lighting conditions, delivering colour video in low light and infrared monochrome when necessary—helping maintain awareness and detail at night.
- Does the lens support remote adjustment post-installation?
Yes. The motorised 2.7–13.5 mm varifocal lens allows zoom and focus to be refined via software, enabling better coverage or adaptation over time without swapping the camera.
- Is the camera suitable for outdoor high-risk environments?
Absolutely. The IP67 and IK10 ratings mean it is protected against dust, water ingress and physical impact. With the Ultra Series’ outdoor design, it is well suited for installation in exposed locations, heavy-traffic zones and critical infrastructure sites.
