$2,600.00 inc GST +3 Year Warranty & Support

The Hanwha Vision PNO-A9081RLP is a high-performance 4 K (3840 × 2160) network bullet camera engineered for licence-plate recognition (LPR/ANPR) and vehicle attribute detection. Equipped with the Wisenet Road AI application pre-installed, it offers licence plate recognition, make/model/colour recognition (MMCR) and vehicle classification — all processed on the edge without additional server load.

With a minimum illumination of 0.05 lux (colour) and 0 lux in B/W when IR is active, the PNO-A9081RLP captures usable evidence day and night. It features a 120 dB wide dynamic range (WDR) to handle challenging lighting, an IR viewable length of approximately 30 m, and a motorised varifocal lens that provides flexible field-of-view adjustment for parking lots, access points and medium-speed traffic lanes.

Built for outdoor environments, the housing is IP66/IP67 rated and IK10 vandal resistant, making it suitable for both exposed and high-risk areas. The camera also includes a 32 GB microSD card for storing up to 10,000 vehicle/plate images, integrating edge storage and analytics in one solution.

Whether used for access control, parking enforcement, city traffic corridors or commercial vehicle sites, the PNO-A9081RLP delivers reliable plate and attribute capture, smart search features and advanced vehicle metadata for forensic review and search efficiency.

Installer Notes

  • Ensure mounting bracket is rated for the bullet weight and placed to align plate capture zone perpendicular to traffic flow for optimal LPR performance.

  • Perform lens zoom/focus adjustment during installation to clearly capture licence plates at specified range (single lane ~3.6 m wide).

  • Use the on-screen alignment tool (if supported) to confirm angle and field of view.

  • For outdoor installation, ensure power supply (PoE+ or 12 V DC) and network are properly protected (surge, lightning, cable shielding).

  • IR range is approximately 30 m; ensure no obstruction or bright ambient lighting that may interfere with plate reflection.

  • Enable smart search and configure allow/deny lists for vehicle attributes to improve forensic retrieval.

  • Verify firmware is up to date and configure appropriate event triggers (plate recognised, vehicle colour, make/model).

  • Clean lens and housing regularly; although rated IK10, avoid direct mechanical impact and maintain clear view.

  • Single-lane coverage is supported up to ~70 km/h; for multi-lane traffic consult application guide for mounting height and angle settings.

FAQs

Q1. Can this camera read licence plates for vehicles moving at speed?
Yes — in a single-lane configuration the camera supports licence plate recognition for vehicles up to approximately 70 km/h using its built-in Road AI engine.

Q2. Does it support both plate recognition and vehicle make/model/colour (MMCR)?
Yes — the camera has the Wisenet Road AI application pre-installed and licensed, supporting LPR plus MMCR for richer vehicle metadata.

Q3. What is the effective IR range for night plate capture?
The approximate IR viewable length is 30 m under standard conditions; ensure lighting and lens view are optimized for this range.

Q4. Is the housing suitable for vandal or exposed outdoor sites?
Yes — the housing is rated IP66/IP67 for weather/dust protection and IK10 for impact resistance, making it suitable for outdoor and harsh environments.

Q5. Does it include on-board storage?
Yes — the unit comes with a 32 GB microSD card pre-installed for storing up to 10,000 plate/vehicle images; further edge storage is via the microSD slot.

Q6. What are the power options?
You may power the camera via PoE+ (IEEE 802.3at) or a 12 V DC supply, depending on your installation infrastructure.

Q7. What type of lens does this model use?
It uses a 4.5-10 mm motorised varifocal lens, offering horizontal field of view approximately 101.4° (wide) to 45.5° (tele).

Q8. How many lanes can this camera monitor effectively?
In the standard one-lane configuration it is optimized for up to ~70 km/h vehicle speeds; for multi-lane traffic, refer to the application guide for range and mounting height limitations.

Q9. Will the analytics work if a licence plate is obscured or damaged?
The engine supports vehicle detection and attribute recognition (make, model, colour) even when plates are unreadable, though plate capture accuracy will be reduced.

Q10. What network protocols are supported?
The camera supports IPv4/IPv6, ONVIF Profiles S/G/T, HTTPS, SSL/TLS encryption, 802.1X authentication and is compatible with major VMS platforms.
