Product Overview

The DS-2CD3787G3T-LIZSUY is a professional-grade 8 MP (3840 × 2160) network dome camera from Hikvision’s Ultra Series, designed to deliver exceptional image clarity and intelligent monitoring for demanding security environments. Featuring a 1/1.8″ progressive-scan CMOS sensor and advanced Darkfighter 2.0 technology, this dome camera captures rich, full-colour video even in extremely low-light conditions. Its Smart Hybrid Light system integrates both infrared and white illumination up to approximately 40 metres, ensuring visibility in dusk, night and shadowed zones. With its motorised varifocal 2.7–13.5 mm lens allowing remote adjustment of the field of view, and robust IP67 and IK10-rated housing (with the “-Y” anti-corrosion variant for coastal or industrial locations), the DS-2CD3787G3T-LIZSUY is a versatile security solution suited to retail frontages, educational campuses, transport hubs, and high-risk perimeters.

Why Choose the DS-2CD3787G3T-LIZSUY

When choosing a high-end dome camera for top-tier surveillance, the DS-2CD3787G3T-LIZSUY stands out due to its integration of high resolution, intelligent analytics and flexible installation. The 8MP resolution provides superior detail for id-capable footage across broad areas. The Smart Hybrid Light and Darkfighter 2.0 ensure strong performance across varied lighting environments—including full colour at night. The motorised varifocal lens simplifies installation and future-proofs the system by enabling remote framing adjustments. In addition, the AI-powered classification of humans and vehicles filters out irrelevant motion and reduces false alarms—ideal for security operations that rely on accuracy. Finally, the rugged build with anti-corrosion coating makes it suitable for challenging outdoors environments where reliability is critical.

Key Capabilities

8 MP Ultra High-Definition Imaging
The camera captures video at an impressive 3840 × 2160 pixel resolution, enabling detailed monitoring across larger scenes, better face and vehicle recognition, and strong forensic value in both indoor and outdoor settings.

Motorised Varifocal Lens (2.7–13.5 mm)
This remote-adjustable lens allows installers to precisely tune the field of view—from wide angles to focused long-distance capture—without physically repositioning the camera. Fine-tuning coverage is significantly easier and more future-proof.

Smart Hybrid Light up to 40 m
Integrated IR and white-light LEDs automatically adapt to the lighting conditions, enabling full-colour video in very low light or switching to IR for extended-range discrete monitoring. This ensures consistent visibility after dark or in difficult lighting conditions.

AI-Powered Detection & Deep-Learning Analytics
EmbeddedHIK AI-ISP and AcuSense technologies enable precise human and vehicle classification, enabling smarter event triggers and fewer false alarms. This capability supports advanced security workflows and integrates with modern monitoring systems.

130 dB WDR & Rugged Build
True 130 dB wide dynamic range ensures balanced imaging in scenes with both bright and dark areas—such as entrances with daylight and indoor shadows. The housing is rated IP67 (weather-proof) and IK10 (vandal–resistant), and the “-Y” variant adds NEMA 4X anti-corrosion for high-risk outdoor sites.

Key Features

  • Darkfighter 2.0 Low-Light Technology: Engineered to capture vivid full-colour video even under extremely low light, enabling better visibility and identification overnight, without heavy reliance on standard white light.

  • Smart Hybrid Illumination: Combines IR and white-light illumination with intelligent switching for optimal lighting balance, supporting strong clarity across 24/7 operation and up to approximately 40 metres of supplemental light.

  • Remote Motorised Varifocal Lens: The 2.7–13.5 mm lens allows remote zoom, focus and field adjustment for precise coverage and installation flexibility, reducing setup time and enabling long-term adaptability.

  • Human & Vehicle Classification Analytics: On-board deep-learning algorithms identify and prioritise human and vehicle targets, reducing false alarms triggered by irrelevant motion and improving operational efficiency.

Understanding the Motorised Varifocal Lens

A motorised varifocal lens enables remote adjustment of focal length and field of view, giving you flexibility to tailor camera coverage without physically repositioning the unit. With the 2.7–13.5 mm range, this camera can shift from a broad-angle view that captures large open areas (such as car parks or courtyards) to a focused view that monitors specific entrances, gates or long corridors. This versatility is ideal for installations where site usage may evolve or where precise framing is required upfront and over time.

Zoom Position Approx. Field of View Best For
2.7 mm (wide) ~112° H Open areas, building fronts, retail exteriors
13.5 mm (telephoto) ~41° H Entrances, gates, long corridors, object tracking

Tip:
Use the lower zoom end (2.7 mm) for wide-area surveillance; use the higher end (13.5 mm) for targeted, long-distance monitoring to maximise detail and reduce blind spots.
