Product Overview

The EC33P is a compact IP-based elevator access controller engineered for smart building environments that require secure and flexible vertical access management. This device enables authorised users to call and access elevator floors using network-based access credentials, integrating seamlessly with intercoms and access control terminals to deliver intelligent lift control functionality. With multiple relay outputs, scalable architecture, and cloud-enabled management support, the EC33P enhances security and operational convenience in multi-storey residential, commercial and mixed-use buildings.

Why Choose the EC33P

The EC33P stands out as a professional-grade lift controller that balances performance with compact design. Its IP-network communication supports both TCP/IP and RS485 connectivity, making it suitable for modern smart access systems. With support for multiple relay outputs and expansion options, this controller can adapt to varied lift access requirements while maintaining clear separation between authorised and unauthorised floor access. Its compatibility with Wiegand readers and remote management capability via web interfaces or cloud platforms gives administrators full control over user permissions and configurations, delivering both convenience and robust security for building managers.

Key Capabilities

IP-based network control
Communicates over standard TCP/IP (10/100M Ethernet) for reliable and responsive elevator access signalling. This supports centralised control and remote monitoring across building network infrastructure.

Expandable relay outputs
Comes with multiple relay outputs (typically 32) that can be expanded via additional panels to control up to 64 floor access points, providing flexible scalability for large buildings.

Flexible credential support
Supports Wiegand 26/34 protocols for integration with a wide range of card readers, enabling compatibility with diverse access credential formats and third-party devices for unified building security.

Cloud and remote management
Integrates with cloud-enabled platforms and web-based interfaces, allowing remote configuration, user management, and system updates without needing onsite interaction—ideal for distributed installations.

Key Features

  • IP communication (10/100M Ethernet): Provides robust TCP/IP signalling for elevator control and integration with IP intercom and access control devices.

  • Wide relay support: Designed to handle up to 32 relay outputs, with expandability to 64 relays via additional expansion panels, enabling control of multiple floors.

  • Wiegand 26/34 reader support: Enables direct connection to standard card readers for credential-based floor access control and flexible system design.

  • RS485 connectivity: Includes RS485 support for connecting expansion controllers and improving communication reliability in larger control schemes.

  • Fire alarm integration: Built-in fire alarm input supports emergency door release or normal elevator commands during critical events, enhancing safety protocols.

  • Remote configuration: Works with cloud and web interfaces to simplify system management, updates and user provisioning without the need for onsite servicing.

FAQs

  1. How does the EC33P improve elevator security?
The EC33P restricts access to elevator floors by using IP-connected relays and credential verification, meaning floors can only be reached by authorised users. This prevents unauthorised vertical movement and integrates with building access systems for cohesive security management.
  2. Can I expand the number of floors controlled?
Yes — the controller supports expansion via additional relay panels, allowing up to 64 relay outputs. This means you can control access to more floors without replacing the entire controller unit, ideal for large buildings or phased deployments.
  3. Does it work with third-party card readers?
Absolutely. With support for Wiegand 26/34 protocols, the EC33P can interface with a wide range of standard card readers, giving flexibility in access credential choices and integration with existing security hardware.
  4. Is cloud-based management supported?
Yes — the EC33P integrates with cloud and web-based management platforms, allowing remote configuration, user provisioning and system monitoring without needing onsite access. This simplifies maintenance and supports distributed building security teams.
