Product Overview

The Akuvox A095 is a smart and secure four-door access control panel designed to serve as the central controller in IP-based access systems. Built for commercial and residential projects that demand scalable and reliable entry management, the A095 supports advanced security functions such as cloud management, anti-passback, and web-based configuration. With flexible connectivity options including PoE+, Wi-Fi and Ethernet, plus high capacity for users, cards and event logs, it delivers dependable performance and future-ready access control for offices, campuses and multi-tenant buildings.

Why Choose the A095

The Akuvox A095 stands out as a comprehensive access control hub when your site requires centralised management of multiple doors with advanced security policies. Its support for cloud-based system administration and flexible network interfaces helps keep installation and ongoing management simple, while powerful features such as anti-passback and two-factor authentication enhance protection against unauthorised entry. With capacity for high user counts and extensive event logging, the A095 is ideal for mid-sized commercial properties, hospitals, corporate campuses and smart building deployments that demand professional-grade access control.

Key Capabilities

Centralised four-door control
The A095 provides comprehensive centralised control for up to four doors, including built-in relay outputs, auxiliary outputs and configurable inputs. This lets administrators manage locks, sensors and event responses directly from one robust panel without separate controllers for each door.

High capacity user support
Designed for demanding deployments, the A095 can support up to 100,000 users and manage hundreds of thousands of credential records and access events, providing audit-ready data and robust tracking for busy sites.

Flexible network connectivity
With support for Ethernet, PoE+ power and optional Wi-Fi or LTE interfaces, the A095 offers adaptable network deployment options, making it easy to integrate into both new and existing IP infrastructures while reducing wiring complexity.

Advanced security features
Built-in security functions such as anti-passback, multi-door interlocking and first-person-in help prevent credential misuse and strengthen system control, supporting more stringent site access policies and reducing the risk of tailgating or unauthorised entries.

Web-based and cloud management
The A095 supports cloud-based administration and local web interface management, giving system administrators convenient configuration, monitoring and firmware upgrades without dedicated software, which helps cut ongoing maintenance costs.

Key Features

  • PoE+ powered access controller: Supports IEEE802.3at PoE+ for simplified installation and lock power supply, reducing cabling requirements and allowing a cleaner setup at the access control rack or panel room.

  • Wi-Fi and optional LTE support: Built-in Wi-Fi (2.4 GHz & 5 GHz) and optional LTE connectivity expands deployment flexibility for sites without readily accessible wired networks.

  • Support for OSDP & Wiegand readers: Compatible with modern OSDP v2.0 card readers as well as legacy Wiegand devices, making it suitable for upgrades or mixed-technology environments.

  • Anti-passback and interlock modes: Advanced access control logic modes improve security by enforcing entry sequencing and preventing misuse of credentials.

  • Large event logging and audit trails: High storage capacity for access events and user records supports detailed audit reports and compliance tracking over time.

  • Configurable I/O ports: Multiple inputs and auxiliary outputs let you connect door sensors, push buttons and alarm devices directly to the controller for a complete door management setup.

FAQs

  1. Can the A095 operate without cloud connectivity?
Yes. The Akuvox A095 supports both local web-based configuration and cloud-enabled management. You can operate it using a standard browser to configure doors, policies and events on-site without requiring cloud access. However, connecting to cloud management platforms adds convenience for remote monitoring and system updates across distributed sites.
  2. What types of reader technologies does the A095 support?
The A095 works with both legacy Wiegand card readers and modern OSDP v2.0 readers, giving you compatibility with a wide range of RFID and secure reader hardware. This lets you tailor your deployment to existing infrastructure or upgrade pathways without replacing all devices.
  3. Does the A095 power door locks directly?
Yes. When powered via PoE+, the A095 can supply lock power output directly to connected door locks. This reduces the need for separate power supplies and simplifies cabling, but you should always verify lock power requirements against the controller’s power capabilities during system design.
