PART 1: Enable Smart Event (Line Crossing Detection) via NVR Local UI

✅ Step 1: Log in to the NVR (monitor connected to NVR)

• Use your mouse to right-click → select Menu.

• Log in with your admin credentials.

✅ Step 2: Access Smart Event

1. Go to Menu > Camera > Smart Event.

2. Select your Camera (e.g., D1).

3. Choose Line Crossing Detection from the list.

4. Tick Enable.

✅ Step 3: Configure Line

1. Click Draw Area.

2. Use your mouse to draw a line on the video view.

   • Left click to start, left click to end.

   • Double-click to finish.

3. Set the Direction (A→B, B→A, or both).

4. Set the Sensitivity (default is ~60–70%).

5. Set Target Detection (e.g., human only — if your model supports it).

✅ Step 4: Set Schedule & Linkage

1. Go to the Schedule tab.

   • Set to All Day or define active hours.

2. In Linkage Action, tick:

   • Trigger Recording

   • Notify Surveillance Center

   • (Optional) Buzzer, Email, etc.

3. Press Apply to save.

PART 2: Enable Audio Recording via NVR Local UI

✅ Step 1: Confirm Audio is Enabled in Camera Stream

1. Go to Menu > Camera > Video.

2. Select your camera channel.

3. Ensure Stream Type = Video & Audio.

4. Click Apply.

1. Go to Menu > Record > Parameters.

2. Select your camera.

3. Confirm Stream Type = Video & Audio.

4. Click Apply.

✅ Step 3: Check Audio During Playback

1. Go to Menu > Playback.

2. Select the camera and time.

3. Use the bottom control bar → Click the speaker icon.

4. Turn up your monitor’s volume (audio is played through the NVR’s HDMI/VGA output).
