It performs reliably in varying light conditions, thanks to Lightfinder for color capture in low light, Forensic WDR for high-contrast scenes, and OptimizedIR for effective vision in total darkness.
This unit includes Axis Edge Vault and secure boot functionality to safeguard the unique device ID and simplify device onboarding and authorization in security-conscious environments. The compact, flat design blends discreetly into installations while the digital roll feature allows remote rotation adjustments without physical repositioning of the camera.
The camera streams using H.264 or H.265 with Zipstream compression to reduce bandwidth and storage needs, while maintaining forensic image quality.

This model does not support licence plate recognition (LPR) functionality and is not compatible with AXIS License Plate Verifier. For LPR deployment, a dedicated Axis LPR camera (such as from the Q-series) is required.
