    • Ensure the hard drive is installed, detected, and formatted.

    • Confirm that there is sufficient free space available.

    • Look for any disk errors or warnings in the system logs that could indicate a failing drive.

    • If the drive is full and overwrite is disabled, the system may stop recording.


3. Confirm Camera-to-NVR Connection

  • Make sure the camera is properly added and connected to the NVR:

    • The camera should appear online in the NVR’s camera list.

    • Check that the camera stream is visible on the live view.

    • Resolve any “offline” or “disconnected” status before proceeding.
